Thursday evening gave a nice surprise - we had snow, and it settled.
Although the roads were back to normal later, there was a time where driving was dangerous. Tithe Pit Shaw Lane was very slippery with cars approaching the steep curve as slow as 2mph and still locking-up under braking. Hillbury Road was less affected but was still very icy at once point.
